Our Islamic Center provides following services:
Community Service
There are many programs which are part of our community service program. These include monthly food drive, food bank, weekly health clinics, annual flu shots, collecting and distributing Udhaya meat, clothing and furniture. Rawdah works with several other organizations in the area to find resources for help. We also have female members part of our team who work with female community members to improve the condition of women in our community. We help provide them food, shelter or something else they need. Counselling Service
Counseling service is one of our most important and prominent services. We provide counseling to youth to guide them to a better path, a path which is taught in Islam. We try to guide them how to deal with mental health problems and how to be a better human being by following the moral code of life. If you want counseling get in touch with our representatives and they will surely guide you to the right path.
Educational Service
Rawdah has a well established school which provides quality Islamic education to all those who are a part of it. With more than 200 hundred students enrolled with us we also teach them other subjects other than Islamic studies. Madrassa students who visit us come from a diverse range of local cultures and we teach them subjects including Arabic and tajweed. The students, teachers and administration staff currently need the assistance of volunteers who can help in different operations of the madrassa.
Funeral Service
Rawdah provides funeral services to the community. We want to help the family who is going through a hard time like this and provide them assistance by organizing and managing their funeral needs to make this hard time easy for them.
Ladies Service
The main objectives of the Rawdah Islamic Center women association are: To work for the well being and betterment of Muslim women of the community. To provide them Islamic education To help them develop their self-confidence and self-respect. To enable them to deal with problems faced by Muslim women
Medical Service
We offer pediatric, adult, psychiatric and dental service by qualified doctors to all those who are in need from our community. We also offer free blood tests to those who are in need of it.
Newcomer Service
We at Rawdah welcome you with an open heart and hope and pray that your move to this new place was easy and brings you countless blessings. We would like to provide a welcoming and forthcoming environment and help newcomers and reverts feel part of our community as soon as we can. We understand that new reverts to Islam face a lot of problems in the beginning and several challenges and we would like to help them during this period.
Nikkah Service
We provide Nikkah or Aqd services to those who are willing to follow the Islamic rules and regulation for Marriage. So if you want a Nikkah service according to Islamic practice of marriage principles contact us.
Social Service
The main mission of this social committee is to promote, implement and manage human services programs and supports that are needed to improve the overall quality of life of individuals and families. We have formed this committee to serve humanity without regarding the race, religion or gender of anyone.
Summer School Service
Our summer school is a part time school in Summer for ages 5 to 15 that runs from Monday to Thursday from 2;30Pm to 7:00 Pm. The topics that we cover (can be more than these): - Heroes of Islam - Tafseer of Selected Surahs - Learning special Duas for everyday life. - Teaching to perfect your prayer - Reviewing your Wudu and Prayer - Project based on Arts and Crafts - Organized recreational activities.
Youth Development Service
Guiding the youth is really important as they are the ones who will make a difference in the future and help improve the society. Our youth development service is a process that prepares a young person to tackle the different challenges of adolescence and adulthood and enable them to achieve their full potential. Youth development is promoted through different activities and experiences that help youth improve their social, ethical, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills.
